Implementation Guidelines for PM SHRI Phase - I - 2024-25
OBJECTIVE: The primary objective of Learning Enhancement Programme /remedial teaching is to identify learning gaps and the specific areas where a student is having difficulty. This includes identifying the basic concepts which are not understood fully and need to be revised.
- PROGRAMMATIC NORMS:
- ● Provide Printed material (subject wise worksheets containing Minimum Level Learning material) to all identified students who need remedial teaching. ( Approx 50-60 pages)
- Academic enrichment in classrooms is aimed at engaging students beyond classrooms through various interventions, such as, group research, group work, portfolios, presentations by students, debates, quizzes, library books, extra reading, project- work, etc.
- Individualized learning interventions to be undertaken for children with special needs, and identified slow learners, especially with the help of special educators, therapists, peer learning, parental/volunteer involvement, etc.
- ● Every school must showcase its impact on students & feedback of parents with good quality photos & short videos through social media platforms & upload on school websites. ● The above-mentioned activities are only suggestive in nature, schools can design/ plan activities based on context or specific needs.
FINANCIAL NORMS: ● ₹ 50,000/ (0.5 lac) per Vidyalaya.
