Implementation Guidelines for PM SHRI Phase - I - 2024-25
OBJECTIVE: Involving the community in schools can greatly enhance the educational experience for students and strengthen the bond between the school and its surroundings.
PROGRAMMATIC NORMS:
- ● Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs)events
- ● Volunteer Programs in school (both curricular or extracurricular)
- ● Community Service Projects by students
- ● Library and Resource Centers visit
- ● After-School Programs
- ● Shared Facilities between neighborhood schools (specially schools with low resources)
- ● Education Workshops by parents
- ● Visit to old age home
- ● visit to orphanage
- ● Visit to Government School in the vicinity of the vidyalaya. Available fund can be utilized for
- ● Honorarium to guest speakers in education workshop by parents
- ● Supplies for community service projects by students.
FINANCIAL NORMS: ● ₹10,000/- (0.1 Lac) per Vidyalaya.
