   The Department of School Education and Literacy, 

Ministry of Education, Government of India, 

in collaboration with UNICEF India and NCERT, 

released the “Career Guidance Book” on the eve of 

Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 

on 

29th July 2024.

  • This guidance and counselling innovative resource features 500 detailed "Career Cards" designed to help students make informed decisions about their future.
  •  Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, these cards offer early exposure to a variety of career options, detailing responsibilities, qualifications, and potential career paths.
  • Teachers and counsellors can use these engaging and user-friendly cards to guide students toward achieving their professional goals.
  •  Let us empower the next generation with the knowledge to navigate their career journeys effectively by finding out following information from these cards!..Work profile, Essential personal traits, Course fee and, Scholarships, Loan prospects, Entry pathways, Information on course providing institute  (Government/Private/online) Example of Pioneer in the various fields.

Explore, Identify and Align the Skills, Interest and Personality 

IMPLEMENTATION

Circulation of the Link : 
To the students & Parents in them 
Class Groups, PTM, Career Groups, Career Fair & Social Media.

Display in School: 
At prominent places and in each class.

Adaptation and Translation:  
 In House by Teaching staff through their subject specific Cards
 and by outside experts on their fields.

Activities
Group Discussions: 
For and against the future prospects of emerging and diminishing careers.
Role play: 
Responsibilities and challenges of a career chosen.

From 10th,12th passed to upwards showing pathways.

What learner says about Skill, Interest, Personality and Career.

Students of Classes IX_X_ XI_XII Represent the Career Corner 
on Which they have explored & researched using Interactive posters and boards During the Fair.
