USER MANUAL FOR TWINING OF SCHOOLS (Mentor/Mentee) UNDER VIDYANJALI PROGRAM
Principal of GSSS Bunga Pkl with four teachers and 18 girl students of classes ix and xi visited KV ITBP Bhanu today under their flagship programme : Twinning of Schools.
Activities conducted.
1. Tour to Library and interaction with Librarian and knowing about : How students of KV utilize Library and Books in their curriculum. By Mr. Uma Shanker Librarian
2. Tour to resource room of Pry. Section Malkeet PRT
3. Tour to Labs. By Mrs. Sunena PGT Chem. and Ashima Gupta. PGT BIO.
4. Sports Activity : Friendly KHoKho match between 9+9 =18 KV and GSSS Bunga Girls, won by kv students and three best KHoKHo girls players from both the teams were selected and awarded Rs. 100.00 each. By Yakshi TGT PHE.
5. Cultural Activity :
5A. Group Song: Prayers singing : 9 students from both the schools were asked to present their morning assembly prayer in their own group first and then jointly for both prayers.
5B. Solo Dance : Three girls from nith schools performed solo dance and then duet dance of folk song, All three were given reward of Rs. 100 each as token of appreciation.
6. Other Activities.
Community refreshment. All 36 students had biscuits and juice together in refreshment brought by GSSS Bunga as gift for students of KVS.
Token of remembrance and return gift to the visiting students: All 18 students were given copies of Swami Vivekananda : A call to the Nation/ स्वामी विवेकानंद : राष्ट्र को आह्वान book for reading by them and later for their school Library.
Exchange of Mob. no. and ideas by the teachers of both the schools for future tie-ups and visit plans.
Vote of thanks : On behalf of Principal, staff and students of KV ITBP Bhanu Mr. Uma Shanker extended vote of thanks to the visiting team with promise to stay in touch and keep learning through such interactive meets or through digital interactive means such as Blog/ Zoom etc.
Students of both the school rejoiced this programme and wanted More such interactions in future.
