 The Performance Grading Index (PGI) is a tool to provide insights on the status of school education in States and UTs including key levers that drive their performance and critical areas for improvement. more...

Grading will allow all States and UTs to occupy the highest level i.e Grade I, at the same time which is a sign of fully developed nation.

The Indian Education System is one of the largest in the world with more than 1.5 million schools, 8.5 million teachers and 250 million children from varied socio-economic backgrounds. The system strives to maintain standards and uniformity across the country while giving ample scope for the country’s diverse culture and heritage to grow and flourish.

The schemes initiated by the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL) along with the implementation of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, have resulted in significant improvement in accessibility. As a logical next step, the focus has now shifted from access to quality of education.

WHY IT IS REQUIRED?

The exercise, which is the first of its kind at such a scale, envisages that the Index will propel the States and Union Territories (UTs) towards undertaking multi-pronged interventions that will bring about the much-desired optimal education outcomes. The purpose of the PGI therefore is to help the States and UTs to pinpoint the gaps and accordingly prioritize areas for intervention to ensure that the school education system is robust at every level. At the same time it will also act as a good source of information for best practices followed by States and UTs which can be shared.The evaluation will grade the States and UTs, as opposed to ranking. Grading, by allowing several States and UTs to be considered at the same level, eliminates the phenomenon of one improving only at the cost of others, thereby casting a stigma of underperformance on the latter, though, in effect they may have maintained status quo or even done better than earlier. for further details

प्यारे बच्चों जैसा कि आप जानते हैं कि केन्द्रीय विद्यालय प्रति वर्ष नये सत्र की शुरुआत में पुस्तक उपहार उत्सव मनाता है। इस उत्सव में छात्र-छात्राएं पिछली कक्षा की किताबों को विद्यालय पुस्तकालय में जमा करते हैं और अगर अगली कक्षा की पुस्तक उपलब्ध हो तो पुस्तकें प्राप्त करते हैं। केन्द्रीय विद्यालय की पुस्तकोंपहार योजना निशुल्क है जिसका उद्देश्य अधिक से अधिक पेड़ों को कटने से बचाना है, क्योंकि कागज पेड़ों से ही बनते हैं। एक पेड़ से 16.67 कागज के रीम बनते हैं और एक रीम में 500 sheets होते हैं, तो एक पेड़ से 16.67×500=8335 sheets कागज बनता हैं।यदि आप सब इस पुस्तक उपहार योजना/उत्सव में पुरानी कक्षा की पुस्तकों को दान करके और अगली कक्षा की पुस्तकें प्राप्त करके भाग लेते हैं, तो जाने-अनजाने में कितने पेड़ों को कटने से बचा सकते हैं। ज़रा सोचिए।

However, since inception of the academic societies, libraries play an vital role to impart the authentic information to its end users. This is the age of information and communication technology where information has been considered as wealth, health, food, employment and many more...!! It won't be an exaggeration to say that those countries who are rich in information, they are in dominating position and more powerful as comparison to others.....!! Information can turmoil the socio-economic development of any country. In Library and Information Science, many tools and techniques were adopted in aeon days to make 'fast delivery of contents'.

Today (03.02.2022) दैनिक भास्कर published a news at its national first page where they have a story of a Book titled क्रिसमस एडवेंचर्स which is written by a school going 2nd standard student in America. In the news, it has also mentioned that how it got popularity even highest in demand and in waiting for two years. The concerned student has taken the help of a library when he visited with his grand-mother....!! Here see the role of a library, how does help of a school going student even got the award of "Young Novelist". This is the power of a library....!! Therefore, I am proud of being a Library Professional......!! Thanks to all and almighty that helps me to write this post....!!!

As you are aware, 24th January is celebrated as National Girl Child Day every year. To mark the occasion, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education is organizing a virtual interaction with the theme- 'Hamari Betiyan Hamari Shaan' on 24.01.2022 from 3.00 to 4.30 PM under the Chairpersonship of Ms. Anita Karwal, Secretary, School Education and Literacy. It is proposed that in the event, 75 girls from Schools will interact with a panel of women achievers, so that the girls are benefited by their vision and experience.

राष्‍ट्रीय बाल पुरस्‍कार विजेताओं की सूची में 12 साल की गुरुगु हिमप्रिया भी (फाइल फोटो)

आतंकी को घंटों उलझाए रखा
आतंकी ने हताश होकर ग्रेनेड से विस्‍फोट किया जिसमें पद्मावती बुरी तरह घायल हो गईं। चोटें हिमप्रिया को भी आई थीं मगर वह मां को होश में लाने की कोशिश में लगी रहीं। आतंकी भीतर आकर सबको बंधक बना चुका था। इतनी कम उम्र में भी ऐसी विपरीत परिस्थितियों का सामना कर रहीं हिमप्रिया घबराई नहीं। वह आतंकी से लगातार बात करती रहीं ताकि सेना को वक्‍त मिल जाए। हिमप्रिया को आतंकवादी ने कई बार बंदूक के जोर पर धमकाया, पिता और सेना के मूवमेंट को लेकर जानकारी मांगी मगर उसने कुछ नहीं बताया। करीब तीन घंटे तक हिमप्रिया ने यूं ही आतंकी को बरगलाया। उधर सेना की टीम इलाके को घेर चुकी थी। फंसा देख वह जैसे ही दूसरी तरफ भागा, हिमप्रिया सैनिकों की दौड़ पड़ीं। मां और बहनों तक मदद पहुंचाई। तब तक सेना उस आतंकवादी को निपटा चुकी थी।

•  सामाजिक सेवा, शैक्षिक, खेल, कला, संस्कृति और वीरता।
• 5 साल से ज्‍यादा और 18 साल से कम उम्र वाले बच्‍चों को यह पुरस्‍कार दिए जाते हैं।
• हर विजेता को एक पदक, एक लाख रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार और प्रमाण पत्र दिया जाता है।
• ये पुरस्कार राष्ट्रपति द्वारा राष्ट्रपति भवन में एक समारोह में प्रदान किए जाते हैं।
• नकद पुरस्कार विजेताओं के संबंधित खातों में ऑनलाइन ट्रांसफर किया जाएगा।
• प्रधानमंत्री हर साल इन पुरस्कार विजेताओं के साथ बातचीत भी करते हैं।
• PMRBP विनर्स हर साल गणतंत्र दिवस परेड में भी हिस्सा लेते हैं। हालांकि कोविड-19 के चलते इस बार ऐसा नहीं हो रहा है।

दो साल के विजेताओं एक साथ मिलेंगे डिजिटल सर्टिफिकेट

पिछले साल कोविड-19 के चलते PMRBP विजेताओं को सर्टिफिकेट्स नहीं दिए जा सके थे। इस साल 'ब्‍लॉकचेन टेक्‍नॉलजी' के जरिए 2021 और 2022 के विजेताओं को सर्टिफिकेट मिलेगा। पहली बार इस तकनीक के जरिए सर्टिफिकेट दिए जा रहे हैं। सरकार ने कहा कि 24 जनवरी को राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के अवसर पर और 'आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव' के हिस्से के रूप में, प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पीएमआरबीपी-2022 के विजेताओं के साथ बातचीत करेंगे। बच्चे अपने माता-पिता और अपने-अपने जिलों के संबंधित जिलाधिकारियों के साथ अपने जिला मुख्यालय से इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल होंगे।  Source, to read more click here

आदरणीय महोदय / महोदया,
नमस्ते,
 
भारत की 'आज़ादी के अमृतमहोत्सव' पर आयोजित 75 करोड़ सूर्यनमस्कार अभियान में अपनी संस्था का पंजीकरण करने हेतु आपका हृदयपूर्वक धन्यवाद। 

संस्था अथवा विद्यालय के पंजीकरण के बाद भी सहभागी विद्यार्थियों / सदस्यों को प्रशस्ति-पत्र मिले इसके लिए निम्न दो कार्य करने अनिवार्य हैं - 

1. एक बार अपने प्रोफाइल को update / verify करना
2. अपने प्रोफाइल कलेंडर में 21 दिनों के अभ्यास की एंट्री करना

 प्रोफाइल update/verify करने के लिए क्या करें - 

आपको केवल एक ही बार अपना प्रोफाइल वेरीफाई करना है। किंतु   www.75suryanamaskar.com इस वेबसाइट पर जाकर अपना Profile Update किये बगैर कलेंडर में एंट्री नहीं हो सकती और बिना एंट्री के विद्यार्थियों को प्रशस्ति-पत्र नहीं मिल पाएगा। 

प्रोफाइल अपडेट/वेरीफाई/एंट्री करने के लिए सबसे पहले इस प्रकार Log In करें  - 

1) website पर जाकर Log In के बटन पर क्लिक करें। 

2. यदि आपने Google या Facebook से पंजीकरण किया हो तो Google/ Facebook के शॉर्टकट पर क्लिक करके सीधे Log In करें। 

3. यदि आपने अपने Whatsapp नम्बर से पंजीकरण किया हो तो अपना वही Whatsapp नम्बर और पासवर्ड डालकर Log In करें। 

 यदि आपने अब तक अपना एकाउंट वेरीफाई नहीं किया है तो क्या करें? 

◆ यदि आपने पंजीकरण करने के बाद Log In कर लिया था किंतु एकाउंट वेरीफाई किये बिना Log Out कर लिया था तो आपको पंजीकरण की पूरी प्रक्रिया फिर से दोहरानी होगी। और रजिस्ट्रेशन के बाद बताए गए व्हाट्सएप्प नम्बर पर अपने व्हाट्सएप्प नम्बर से बताया गया टोकन नम्बर व्हाट्सएप्प करना होगा। 

◆ यदि आपने वेरिफिकेशन नहीं किया और Log Out भी नहीं किया तो आपके प्रोफाइल पेज पर लाल अक्षरों में दिखाए जा रहे व्हाट्सएप्प नम्बर पर बताया गया टोकन नम्बर अपने रजिस्टर्ड व्हाट्सएप्प नम्बर से व्हाट्सएप्प मेसेज के रूप में भेजें ।

◆ जिन्होंने Google या Facebook से रजिस्ट्रेशन किया है उन्हें गूगल या फ़ेसबुक के निशान पर क्लिक करके ही Log In करना है। और फिर प्रोफाइल पेज पर "Update Profile" पर क्लिक करना है।

 ऐसा करते ही आपके इसी स्क्रीन पर आपकी जानकारी वाला पेज खुलेगा। जिसमें आपके संस्थान का नाम, राज्य, शहर, Whatsapp नम्बर आदि आप देख पाएंगे। इसे पूरा पढ़कर यदि कहीं बदलाव करना हो तो कर लें। और फिर Update Profile पर क्लिक करें। ऐसा Google / Facebook वालों का एकाउंट verify हो जाएगा।
 
 सहभागियों के नाम की सूची अपलोड करें 
प्रोफाइल वेरीफाई हो जाने के बाद अपने  विद्यालय से इस उपक्रम में सहभाग को इच्छुक विद्यार्थियों की सूची upload participants list पर क्लिक करके अपलोड करें। इसकी प्रक्रिया समझने के लिए वेबसाइट की Download लिंक पर दिया गया 'How to Rejister your institute' वाला वीडियो देखें। 

21 दिनों तक प्रतिदिन 13 सूर्यनमस्कार
रजिस्ट्रेशन के बाद अपने संस्थान में कम से कम 21 दिनों तक प्रतिदिन 13 सूर्यनमस्कार का अभ्यास अवश्य कराएं। और अपने अभ्यास का फोटो/वीडियो फ़ेसबुक पर -

 Swami Vivekananda (/ˈswɑːmi ˌvɪveɪˈkɑːnəndə/; Bengali: [ʃami bibekanɔndo] (listen); 12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902), born Narendranath Datta (Bengali: [nɔrendronatʰ dɔto]), was an Indian Hindu monk and philosopher. He was a chief disciple of the 19th-century Indian mystic Ramakrishna. Influenced by Western esotericism, he was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian darsanas (teachings, practices) of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world,^[and is credited with raising interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century. 

He was a major force in the contemporary Hindu reform movements in India, and contributed to the concept of nationalism in colonial India. Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission.^[10] He is perhaps best known for his speech which began with the words "Sisters and brothers of America ...," in which he introduced Hinduism at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893.

Born into an aristocratic Bengali Kayastha family of Calcutta, Vivekananda was inclined towards spirituality. He was influenced by his guru, Ramakrishna, from whom he learnt that all living beings were an embodiment of the divine self; therefore, service to God could be rendered by service to humankind. After Ramakrishna's death, Vivekananda toured the Indian subcontinent extensively and acquired first-hand knowledge of the conditions prevailing in British India. 

He later travelled to the United States, representing India at the 1893 Parliament of the World's Religions. Vivekananda conducted hundreds of public and private lectures and classes, disseminating tenets of Hindu philosophy in the United States, England and Europe. In India, Vivekananda is regarded as a patriotic saint, and his birthday is celebrated as National Youth Day.

मेरा धन्यवाद कुछ उन वक्ताओं को भी जिन्होंने इस मंच से यह कहा कि दुनिया में सहनशीलता का विचार सुदूर पूरब के देशों से निकला है। मुझे गर्व है कि मैं एक ऐसे धर्म से हूं जिसने दुनिया को सहनशीलता और सभी को स्वीकारने का पाठ पढ़ाया है।

हम सिर्फ सार्वभौमिक सहनशीलता में ही विश्वास नहीं रखते बल्कि हम विश्व के सभी धर्मों को सत्य के रूप में स्वीकार करते हैं। मुझे गर्व है कि मैं एक ऐसे देश से हूं, जिसने इस धरती के सभी देशों और धर्मों के परेशान और सताए गए लोगों को शरण दी है। 

मुझे यह बताते हुए गर्व हो रहा है कि हमने अपने हृदय में उन इस्राइलियों की पवित्र स्मृतियां संजोकर रखी हैं, जिनके पवित्र धार्मिक स्थल को रोमन हमलावरों ने तोड़कर खंडहर बना दिया था और तब उन्होंने दक्षिण भारत में शरण ली थी।

मुझे इस बात का गर्व है कि मैं एक ऐसे धर्म से हूं जिसने महान पारसी धर्म के लोगों को शरण दी और अब भी उन्हें पाल-पोस रहा है।भाइयो, मैं आपको वैदिक मंत्रों की कुछ पंक्तियां सुनाना चाहूंगा जिसे मैंने बचपन से याद किया और दोहराया है और जो करोड़ों लोगों द्वारा हर दिन दोहराया जाता है: जिस तरह अलग-अलग स्रोतों से निकली विभिन्न नदियां अंत में समुद्र में जाकर मिलती हैं, उसी तरह मनुष्य अपनी प्रवृत्ति के अनुरूप अलग-अलग रास्ता चुनता है। वे देखने में भले ही सीधे या टेढ़े-मेढ़े लगें, पर सभी रास्ते भगवान तक ही जाते हैं।

वर्तमान सम्मेलन जो कि आज तक की सबसे पवित्र सभाओं में से है, गीता में बताए गए इस सिद्धांत का प्रमाण है: जो भी मुझ तक आता है, चाहे वह कैसा भी हो, मैं उस तक पहुंचता हूं। लोग चाहे कोई भी रास्ता चुनें, आखिर में मुझ तक ही पहुंचते हैं।

 सांप्रदायिकता, कट्टरता और हठधर्मिता लंबे समय से इस सुंदर धरती को अपने शिकंजों में जकड़े हुए हैं। इन्होंने धरती को हिंसा से भर दिया है। कितनी बार ही यह धरती खून से लाल हुई है। कितनी ही सभ्यताओं का विनाश हुआ है और न जाने कितने देश नष्ट हुए हैं।

 अगर ये भयानक राक्षस नहीं होते तो आज मानव समाज कहीं ज्यादा उन्नत होता, लेकिन अब उनका समय पूरा हो चुका है। मुझे पूरी उम्मीद है कि आज इस सम्मेलन का शंखनाद सभी हठधर्मिताओं, हर तरह के दुखों और सभी मनुष्यों के बीच की दुर्भावनाओं का विनाश करेगा।......SOURCE

The Colombo Plan Staff College for Technician Education (CPSC)

 is an autonomous specialized agency of the Colombo Plan. It was established on December 5, 1973 at the 23rd Consultative Committee Meeting of the Colombo Plan held in Wellington, New Zealand to assist the member countries of the Colombo Plan in developing and enhancing their technician education systems. It became operational in 1974 with the Republic of Singapore serving as the first host Government. In January 1987, CPSC moved to Manila, Philippines upon the invitation of the Philippine Government.

Member Countries

CPSC was founded by 26 countries which include Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Canada, Fiji Islands, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Khmer Republic, Republic of Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Republic of Maldives, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America and the Republic of Vietnam. They collectively agreed that a regional center for technician education and training needed to be established to assist countries in Colombo Plan region in this area. The said countries cooperated under south-south cooperation which has been the principal framework for CPSC’s programs and activities from its inception until now.

CPSC has 26 member countries classified as charter and current members. There are sixteen (16) active member countries, twelve (12) charter member countries.

Purpose & Functions

CPSC is a unique Inter-Governmental Organization (IGO), which consistently addresses issues in Technical and Vocational Education & Training in the Asia and the Pacific region.

For over four decades, CPSC continues to assert its role in advancing human resources development across the region.

The purpose of the Staff College is to improve the quality of technical education and training in the Colombo Plan region. This is done by meeting the needs for technician education of teacher educators and trainers and senior staff in the field, who can play a more active part in in-service training and staff development.

The main functions of the Staff College include:

1. Provide courses of further professional education and training to persons responsible for the planning, development, administration and supervision of technician education and training and persons in key supporting roles;
2. Conduct conferences on various aspects of technician education and training;
3. Assist in the conduct of projects in the field of staff and curriculum development and other projects aimed at the effective utilization of resources for learning and teaching;
4. Promote, coordinate and undertake research and development activities;
5. Advise and assist member countries in developing their technician teacher education;
6. Collect and disseminate information on technician education and training.
