Orientation Programme For Students of KV Bhanu Library Every Year

You Must read following points carefully and follow then meticulously.

2. Read Library Rules written on the wall & follow them.


3. Silence: Do not speak if you can't improve upon the silence.

4.   Visit the library for book issue/return, except when a class is already in reading mode in the library.

5. Come to library in Boy and Girl line/queue with Boy n Girl Coordinators on both side of queue without any noise during your Library/ Arrangement Periods.

6. Take your seat and use Out-Pass to go outside the library, if need be, without any noise.

7.  Why Reading is so important

100 Days Reading Campaign.

 TARGET GROUP: 

Children studying in Balvatika to Grade VIII will be part of this campaign.

 They will further be categorised in three groups class wise: 

GROUP I: BALVATIKA TO GRADE II 

GROUP II: GRADE III TO GRADE V 

GROUP III: GRADE VI TO GRADE VIII V. 

DURATION OF THE CAMPAIGN: The reading campaign will be organised for 100 days (14 weeks) starting from January 2022 to April 2022.

AT NATIONAL LEVEL FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO KEEP THE MOMENTUM OF THE CAMPAIGN:

Organise ‘READATHON’ on the lines of Toycathon Awareness Drive:

 Press releases, Social media campaign, infographics, etc. 

Story telling by Hon’ble Education Minister, State Ministers, Chief Ministers, State Education Ministers, etc. in regional languages

Webinars on the importance of reading Video/Audio message from Children book writers (Ruskin Bond, Shudha Murthy, Nilesh Misra for story telling) 

Reading Aloud of stories by teachers as well as community members in regional languages Partnership with CSOs, FM channels, Newspapers (local and regional)

Story telling sessions to be organised by involving Parents and Grand Parents.

Celebration of 21st February as International Mother Tongue Day Kahani Padho Apni Bhasa Main (Reading story in own language) to be conducted across the country during this period.

 यूँ तो चकमक को बड़े भी चाव से पढ़ते हैं पर मुख्यतौर पर यह 11-14 साल के इर्द-गिर्द के पाठकों को ध्यान में रखकर बुनी जाती है। चकमक बच्चों को एक समझदार इंसान के रूप में जानती है। इसलिए चकमक में दुनिया के तमाम विषयों पर सामग्री पेश की जाती है। चकमक बच्चों को महज़ परियों, राजा-रानियों के लिजलिजी भाषा में लिखे किस्से-कहानियों तक सीमित रखने की सोच पर सवाल खड़े करती है। चकमक जिस गर्मजोशी से कल्पनाशील साहित्य का इस्तकबाल करती है वैसे ही वह यथार्थ से भी अपने पाठकों को परिचित कराती चलती है। चकमक मानक, जड़ भाषा की जगह लचीली और जीवन्त भाषा की सिफारिश करती है। बच्चों से समानता की भाषा में बात करती है। चकमक में साहित्य व विज्ञान आदि के अलावा कला पर विशेष तौर पर सामग्री पेश की जाती है। कला के नाम पर बच्चों को आम तौर पर बेहद सीमित अर्थों में चित्रकला को सराह पाने के मौके मिलते हैं। वे सकारात्मक पहल की आशा से बड़ों की तरफ देखते हुए अकसर तिकोने पहाड़ों के बीच से उगते सूरजों के इर्द-गिर्द जूझते रहते हैं। चकमक उन्हें जाने-माने कलाकारों के साथ कला की दुनिया के विस्तृत सफर पर ले जाती है। जहाँ उन्हें कला के अनुभव में शामिल होने का मौका मिलता है। चकमक में कथाएँ पाठक के लिए एक अनुभव बनकर आती हैं। इन कथाओं की जड़ जीवन के ठीक पड़ोस में होती है। इसलिए उन्हें पढ़ते-सुनते हुए अपने आसपास के जीवन की गंध आती रहती है।

Library Usage During Pandemic






Learning does not stop 




  •  Reading Materials and e-books/ e-resources on
  •  
  • WhatsApp groups/ Google class /  Library Blog/ Paperli

  • Web Links has been shared through WhatsApp group/ Google class/ Blog etc. 
  •  
  • Link of different Open Educational Resources have been connected to the Library Blog.

  • During lockdown link e-Newspaper was circulated through WhatsApp groups and google classes. so that their Reading habit can continue.

  • Virtual Pustakopahar was celebrated.

  • Students donated their books to the younger ones staying nearby to them with all safety measures. They wore gloves and masks. Made a packet of books and handed over to the younger ones.
  • Library green book bank also received some books on school opening .

  •  Online and Offline library classes were taken regularly. 
  • PowerPoint Presentations  on career counselling and stream selection.
  •  On line audio video books were shared on different topics so that they can enjoy their class.
  • *      Different activities were designed and important days were celebrated.
  • *    Assignment based Virtual exhibition of  New Arrival Books  was organized.
  •   NCERT / DD TV Telecast schedule sharing with student.
