Dear Sir/Ma’am, The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes interactive, activity-based and experiential learning (para 23.6, page 57).

In alignment with NEP-2020 and the ongoing efforts to enhance learner experience on DIKSHA, CIET-NCERT has developed Interactive textbooks (called KATBOOKs) for grades 1, 6, and 12 on a trial basis in collaboration with UEducate Global Pvt. Ltd.

In order to find out the usefulness of these books, it has been decided to pilot with the students and teachers. You are therefore requested to kindly facilitate piloting of the below listed books by the students and teachers in your State/UT by circulating the enclosed information to all the schools and teachers. WILL FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING THREE DAY CELEBRATIONS

1. बाल दिवस

बच्चों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य के लिए ‘बाल दिवस’ स्कूलों

तथा

अन्य संस्थाओं में धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है।

बाल दिवस के अवसर पर भारत के राष्ट्रपति बच्चों का मनोबल बढ़ाते हैं

और उन्हें उत्कृष्ठ कार्य करने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं।

बाल दिवस मनाने की शुरुआत 1925 में जिनेवा के एक शिखर सम्मेलन से हुई

जिसमें 54 लोगों ने भाग लिया था।

संविधान में बाल अधिकार

भारत का संविधान, संयुक्त राष्ट्र की योजनाओं के ही अनुरूप बच्चों के संरक्षण एवं अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए कई सुविधाएं देता है। संविधान हर तरह से देश में बच्चों के कल्याण तथा उनकी शिक्षा एवं बालश्रम से मुक्ति के लिए प्रत्यक्ष तथा अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से उन्मूलन के लिए दृढ़ प्रतिज्ञ है।

अनुच्छेद 15(3): राज्य को बच्चों एवं महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण के लिए अधिकार देता है।
अनुच्छेद 21ए: राज्य को 6 से 14 वर्ष तक के बच्चों के लिए अनिवार्य तथा मुफ़्त शिक्षा देना क़ानूनी रूप से बाध्यकारी है।
अनुच्छेद 24: बालश्रम को प्रतिबंधित तथा गैरक़ानूनी कहा गया है।
अनुच्छेद 39(ई): बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य और रक्षा के लिए व्यवस्था करने के लिए राज्य क़ानूनी रूप से बाध्य है।
अनुच्छेद 39(एफ): बच्चों को गरियामय रूप से विकास करने के लिए आवश्यक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराना राज्य की नैतिक ज़िम्मेदारी है।

बाल भवन केंद्र

मुख्य लेख : राष्ट्रीय बाल भवन

राष्ट्रीय बाल भवन, मानव संसाधन और विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा पूर्ण रूप से वित्त पोषित एक स्वायत्तशासी संस्था है, जो स्कूली शिक्षा और साक्षरता विभाग के तहत कार्य करती हैं। इन संस्थानों का गठन बच्चों को विभिन्न गतिविधियों, अवसरों एवं आम बातचीत, प्रयोग करने और प्रदर्शन करने के लिए एक मंच उपलब्ध कराकर उनकी रचनात्मक क्षमता को बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से किया गया है। पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू के द्वारा बाल भवन केन्द्र के विचार की कल्पना की गई। उनका मानना था कि औपचारिक शिक्षा व्यवस्था से बच्चों के व्यक्तित्व के समग्र विकास की गुंजाइश काफ़ी कम है और बाल भवन एक ऐसी जगह है जो बच्चे के संपूर्ण विकास का वातावरण पेश करके इस अंतर को कम कर सकता है। वर्तमान में राष्ट्रीय बाल भवन से सम्बद्ध 68 राज्य बाल भवन तथा 10 बाल केन्द्र हैं।

2. शिक्षा दिवस

वैधानिक रूप से 'राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा दिवस' का प्रारम्भ 11 नवम्बर, 2008 से किया गया है। '11 नवम्बर' की तिथि भारत के प्रसिद्ध व्यक्तित्व अबुल कलाम आज़ाद से जुड़ी है। इसी दिन इस महान् विभूति का जन्म सऊदी अरब के मक्का में हुआ था।

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा दिवस - भारतकोश, ज्ञान का हिन्दी महासागर

मौलाना आज़ाद की अगुवाई में 1950 के शुरुआती दशक में 'संगीत नाटक अकादमी', 'साहित्य अकादमी' और 'ललित कला अकादमी' का गठन हुआ। इससे पहले वह 1950 में ही 'भारतीय सांस्कृतिक संबंध परिषद' बना चुके थे।

शिक्षा से वंचित बच्चे

एक सर्वेक्षण में यह देखने में आया है कि अभी भी राह चलते समाज के कई वर्ग के ऐसे बच्चे दिख जाते हैं, जो स्कूल नहीं जाते। इसमें कचरा बीनने वाले बच्चे प्रमुख रूप से शामिल हैं। शहरी क्षेत्र में यह भी देखने में आया है कि अतंत: लघु स्तर पर व्यापार करने वाले कई परिवार ऐसे हैं, जो अपने बच्चों को साथ लेकर ही चलते हैं और उनके बच्चे स्कूल नहीं जा पाते। इसमें सड़क किनारे मोची का काम करने वाले, निवासी इमारतों में झाडू लगाने वाले, छोटी चाय-नास्ते की दुकान चलाने वाले, पान-बीड़ी की दुकान चलाने वाले, घरों में कुटीर उद्योग (अगरबत्ती, बिंदी, पापड़, नकली मोती के दाने गूंथने वाले, कपड़ों की सिलाई करने वाले आदि) सड़कों-मुहल्लों में घूमकर कचरा बीनने वाले, भीख मांगने वाले तथा रेलों-बसों में घूमकर या फिर रेल व बस अड्डों पर कोई न कोई सामान बेचने वाले बच्चे आदि शामिल हैं।

3. संविधान दिवस

राष्ट्रीय संविधान दिवस (अंग्रेज़ी: National Constitution Day) भारत में प्रत्येक वर्ष '26 नवम्बर को मनाया जाता है। वर्ष 1949 में 26 नवम्बर को संविधान सभा द्वारा भारत के संविधान को स्वीकृत किया गया था, जो 26 जनवरी, 1950 को प्रभाव में आया। डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर को "भारत के संविधान का जनक" कहा जाता है। भारत की आजादी के बाद काग्रेस सरकार ने डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर को भारत के प्रथम कानून मंत्री के रूप में सेवा करने का निमंत्रण दिया। उन्हें 29 अगस्त को संविधान की प्रारूप समिति का अध्यक्ष बनाया गया। वह भारतीय संविधान के मुख्य वास्तुकार थे और उन्हें मजबूत और एकजुट भारत के लिए जाना जाता है।

भारतीय संविधान

भारतीय संविधान का पहला वर्णन ग्रानविले ऑस्टिन ने सामाजिक क्रांति को प्राप्त करने के लिये बताया था। भारतीय संविधान के प्रति बाबा साहेब अम्बेडकर का स्थायी योगदान भारत के सभी नागरिकों के लिए बहुत मददगार है। भारतीय संविधान देश को एक स्वतंत्र कम्युनिस्ट, धर्मनिरपेक्ष स्वायत्त और गणतंत्र भारतीय नागरिकों को सुरक्षित करने के लिए, न्याय, समानता, स्वतंत्रता और संघ के रूप में गठन करने के लिए अपनाया गया था। जब भारत के संविधान को अपनाया गया था, तब भारत के नागरिकों ने शांति, शिष्टता और प्रगति के साथ एक नए संवैधानिक, वैज्ञानिक, स्वराज्य और आधुनिक भारत में प्रवेश किया था। भारत का संविधान पूरी दुनिया में बहुत अनोखा है और संविधान सभा द्वारा पारित करने में लगभग 2 साल, 11 महीने और 17 दिन का समय ले लिया गया।

भारतीय संविधान की विशेषताओं में से कुछ निम्नलिखित हैं-

यह लिखित और विस्तृत है।
यह लोकतांत्रिक सरकार है - निर्वाचित सदस्य।
मौलिक अधिकार,
न्यायपालिका की स्वतंत्रता, यात्रा, रहने, भाषण, धर्म, शिक्षा आदि की स्वतंत्रता,
एकल राष्ट्रीयता,
भारतीय संविधान लचीला और गैर लचीला दोनों है।
राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर जाति व्यवस्था का उन्मूलन।
समान नागरिक संहिता और आधिकारिक भाषाएं,
केंद्र एक बौद्ध 'Ganrajya' के समान है,
बुद्ध और बौद्ध अनुष्ठान का प्रभाव,
भारतीय संविधान अधिनियम में आने के बाद, भारत में महिलाओं को मतदान का अधिकार मिला है।
दुनिया भर में विभिन्न देशों ने भारतीय संविधान को अपनाया है।
पड़ोसी देशों में से एक भूटान ने भी भारतीय लोकतांत्रिक प्रणाली को स्वीकार कर लिया है।
