 The PMS SHRI KV OCF Sector 29B Chandigarh library is a modern, resource-rich learning hub with nearly 12,264 plus books, strong digital infrastructure, active reader clubs, ambitious reading targets, and innovative NEP 2020-aligned projects. Serving over 1,500 users, it blends traditional resources with digital platforms, fostering reading culture, career guidance, and holistic student development.

‘पुस्तकोपहार’ अभियान का सफल आयोजन

“पुस्तक का उपहार, मुस्कान का संचार” - “पुस्तक बाँटें, आनंद फैलाएँ” - “ज्ञान का उपहार, खुशी का विस्तार”

नए शैक्षणिक सत्र के शुभारंभ पर पीएम श्री केंद्रीय विद्यालय, ओसीएफ सेक्टर 29, चंडीगढ़ में 01 अप्रैल से 07 अप्रैल 2026 तक ‘पुस्तकोपहार – Gift a Book, Share a Smile!’ अभियान का सफल आयोजन किया गया।

इस पहल के अंतर्गत विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी पुरानी लेकिन उपयोगी पुस्तकों को छोटे विद्यार्थियों को उपहार स्वरूप प्रदान किया। अभियान में विद्यार्थियों एवं अभिभावकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और सहयोग की भावना का परिचय दिया।

अभियान की प्रमुख विशेषताएँ

• विद्यार्थियों ने पुस्तकों को साफ-सुथरा, बाउंड और कवर करके उपहारस्वरूप दिया।

• पुस्तकें सीधे मित्रों, छोटे विद्यार्थियों या विद्यालय पुस्तकालय के ग्रीन बुक बैंक में जमा की गईं।

• इस अभियान ने विद्यार्थियों में सहयोग, साझेदारी, सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व और पर्यावरण संरक्षण की भावना को प्रोत्साहित किया।

• विद्यार्थियों ने यह भी सीखा कि पुस्तकों को उपयोग के बाद भी अच्छी स्थिति में बनाए रखना कितना महत्वपूर्ण है।

नेतृत्व एवं पर्यवेक्षण

यह आयोजन प्रधानाचार्य श्री के.एस. पठानिया जी के नेतृत्व और विद्यालय लाइब्रेरियन के पर्यवेक्षण में सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।

विशेष महत्व

‘पुस्तकोपहार’ अभियान केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन (KVS) का एक फ्लैगशिप कार्यक्रम है। यह विद्यार्थियों में पर्यावरण संरक्षण, सहयोग, सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व, कृतज्ञता तथा संस्थान के प्रति प्रेम और लगाव को प्रकट करता है। यह वार्षिक कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थियों को अपनी पाठ्यपुस्तकों और कार्यपुस्तिकाओं को सदैव साफ-सुथरा और उच्च मानकों के अनुरूप बनाए रखने की प्रेरणा देता है।विद्यालय परिवार ने इस पहल की सराहना की और इसे विद्यार्थियों के लिए प्रेरणादायक बताया। विद्यालय ने उन सभी विद्यार्थियों को बधाई दी और आभार व्यक्त किया जिन्होंने प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से इस अभियान में भाग लिया।
