• RATIONALE: The amount spent on magazines is at par with or more than the books in a year, but the life and utility of magazines is less as compared to books. So we need to optimize the use of every rupee spent for the reader.

Orientation : Magazine Reading 

Dear Students 

The library has planned to make the year 2026-27 a year of Reading Magazines in the Library.

We spend equally a good amount on the consumable print and digital media (Plz. see the magazine budget sheet) but when it comes to utilization, we are bit lacking, So to make very best use of every rupees spent on magazines we have planned to push magazine reading in readers to promote reading and make students aware of different print / non print/digital media available in the forms of Magazines / Periodicals / Research Papers ... and so on.

LIBRARY RULES:

1. All Teachers and students of the school are members of the library.: REGISTER YOURSELF WITH YOUR EMPLOYEE CODE / ADMISSION NO and get your Library Card Made

2. A student can borrow two books at a time for a period of two weeks.

3. Books will be issued to the students during the library periods only.

(No book will be issued or returned during the teaching hours.)

4. Marking, underlining or writing on library books is strictly forbidden.: Also, never write with pen in side a book, be it your own text book

5. Reference books and current periodicals will not be issued to any student.

(These can be read only in the library room.)

6. If the books are not returned within a specified time, it will be viewed seriously

and fine will be charged as per the prevailing rules of Library that time.

7. The librarian may call for a book at any time,

even if the normal period of loan has not expired.

8. In case the book is misused, wrongly handled or lost

The member concerned will have to replace the book.

9. A ‘ No Dues Certificate ’ by each student is to be obtained from the library.
