World Book and Copyright Day is celebrated annually on April 23rd to promote reading, publishing, and the protection of intellectual property through copyright. In 2025, it will be observed on Wednesday, April 23rd. This date was chosen by UNESCO in 1995 to honor the simultaneous deaths of prominent authors such as William Shakespeare, Miguel de Cervantes, and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega
