Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre

Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre is a unique Centre that combines science with religion. The main attraction of the Centre is a life-like panorama of the epic battle of Kurukshetra that showcases Mahabharata war with scientific explanations justifying every episode in the war. The magnificent two-storied building of the Centre has cylindrical walls. The Centre has an interesting exhibition called 'India: A Heritage in Science, Technology and Culture', consisting of working and interactive exhibits on ancient Indian concept of properties of matter, structure of atom, geometry, arithmetical rules, astronomy, medicine and surgery.

The tall and cylindrical building has elegant architecture and ambiance. On the centre of the cylindrical hall, there are paintings 34-feet in height depicting various episodes of Mahabharata from confrontation between the Pandavas and the Kauravas to the diorama of the battleground that epitomizes the carnage realistically. The chanting of Gita and distant war cries blended with lighting illusions end a perfect ambience.

A Science Park has also been set up outside the Centre's building. It is a refreshing concept of science learning for children through fun and enjoyment. Not only children but also adults get attracted to these aesthetically placed exhibits in the greenery of the park.

Admission to Kendriya Vidyalayas The admission process for the Academic Session 2017-18 has start from 08.02.2017. The admission process will be done through online registration.

How To Apply

अभिभावकों से अनुरोध है की केन्द्रीय विद्यालय मे कक्षा एक मे प्रवेश हेतु पंजीकरण प्रपत्र भरने से पूर्व दिशा-निर्देश ध्यानपूर्वक पढ़ें ।

(अ) सामान्य निर्देश

1. यदि कोई अभिभावक प्रवेश हेतु ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण प्रपत्र मे गलत जानकारी प्रदान करता है तो उस पंजीकरण प्रपत्र को निरस्त कर दिया जाएगा एवं कानूनी कार्यवाही की जा सकती है।
2. अभिभावकगण सुनिश्चित करें की प्रपत्र मे भरे गए सभी विवरणों से संबन्धित दस्तावेजों की मूलप्रति उनके पास उपलब्ध है।
3. एक विद्यालय मे, एक और केवल एक ही प्रपत्र भरें। उसी विद्यालय की द्वितीय पाली तथा अन्य विद्यालयों मे पंजीकरण प्रपत्र भरने हेतु कोई रोक नहीं है।
4. अगर कोई अभिभावक एक बच्चे के लिए या एक से अधिक बच्चों के लिए कई विद्यालयों/पालियों मे पंजीकरण प्रपत्र भरते हैं तो निम्न सूचनाएँ एक जैसी होनी चाहिए।
1. (क) बच्चे का नाम
2. (ख) माता-पिता का नाम
3. (ग) जन्म तिथि
4. (घ) ईमेल आइ डी
5. (ङ) मोबाइल न॰
6. (च) घर का पता
5. एक बच्चे के लिए, एक विद्यालय मे एक से अधिक पंजीकरण प्रपत्र पाये जाने पर, प्राधिकृत अधिकारी द्वारा पंजीकरण निरस्त कर दिया जाएगा।
6. ऑनलाइन प्रवेश प्रक्रिया मे पंजीकरण की सुविधा उपलब्ध रहने तक अभिभावकों को प्रपत्र भरने/सुधार/रद्द/जमा करने हेतु निम्न बातों का ध्यान रखें।
1. (क) एक बार पंजीकरण प्रपत्र भरकर जमा करने (submit) करने के बाद सुधार (edit) की सुविधा पंजीकरण की अंतिम तिथि तक उपलब्ध होगी।
3. (ख) पूर्व मे किए गए पंजीकरण को रद्द(Cancel) करके ही पुनः पंजीकरण की सुविधा उपलब्ध है।
7. पंजीकरण प्रपत्र भरने हेतु दिशा-निर्देश, प्रवेश मार्गदर्शिका (Admission Guidelines) एवं अन्य जानकारी संबन्धित विद्यालय की वैबसाइट पर भी उपलब्ध है।
8. पूर्णतया भरे हुये पंजीकरण प्रपत्र की हार्ड कॉपी (Printout) प्राप्ति रसीद अपने पास रिकॉर्ड हेतू रखें । निर्धारित तिथि पर लॉटरी मे सफल होने वाले प्रत्याशियों के अभिभावक पंजीकरण प्रपत्र की हार्ड कॉपी, प्राप्ति रसीद एवं प्रमाणपत्रों की प्रति के साथ प्राचार्य के समक्ष उपस्थित हो ।
9. अभिभावक अपना ईमेल आइडी (email id) अवश्य लिखें जिससे प्रवेश संबंधी सूचना प्रदान की जा सके।
10. विस्तृत प्रवेश मार्गदर्शिका एवं नियमों की जानकारी हेतू केन्द्रीय विद्यालय संगठन की वैबसाइट का प्रयोग करें।

11. सभी सामान्य एवं विशिष्ट निर्देश विद्यालय वैबसाइट से डाउनलोड एवं प्रिंट किए जा सकते हैं। यद्यपि पंजीकरण प्रपत्र भरने हेतु निम्न वैबसाइट पर लॉगिन करें (विशेष प्रावधानों के अंतर्गत होने वाले प्रवेश को छोडकर)

12. पंजीकरण मात्र से ही प्रवेश का अधिकार प्राप्त नहीं होगा।
13. ऐसे प्रवेश जो की प्रवेश मार्गदर्शिका मे ‘विशेष प्रावधानों’ के अंतर्गत आते हैं – संबन्धित विद्यालय के प्राचार्य से सीधा संपर्क कर ‘ऑफलाइन’ अर्थात विद्यालय से पंजीकरण प्रपत्र प्राप्त कर, पूर्णतया भरकर विद्यालय मे जमा कराएं। 
    *विशेष प्रावधान जैसे – एकल कन्या, के॰वि॰स॰ वार्ड इत्यादि।

(ब) फार्म भरने हेतु निर्देश 

(अ.) बच्चे का विवरण:

1. नाम: बड़े (कैपिटल)/ साफ अक्षरों में भरा जाये।
2. लिंग: कृपया सही विकल्प चुनिए. पुरुष/महिला/ट्रांस जेंडर|
3. श्रेणी: सामान्य /अनु. जा./ अनु जनजाति- सही विकल्प चुनिए
4. दिव्याङ्ग: कृपया सही विकल्प चुनिए. चुनने पर – पंजीकरण प्रपत्र में आवश्यक विवरण भरें |
5. जन्म तिथि: सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा जारी किये गये जन्म प्रमाण पत्र की तिथि के अनुसार जन्म तिथि को अंकित करें| 
   (क) आयु: दिनांक 31.03.2017 को कक्षा पहली में प्रवेश के लिये आयु 5 वर्ष एवं अधिकतम 7 वर्ष होनी चाहिए |दिव्यंगो को दो वर्ष की अधिकतम आयु में छूट प्राप्त है | दिनांक 01.04. 2012 को जन्में बच्चे भी कक्षा 1 में प्रवेश के पात्र हैं|
6. आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़ा वर्ग(EWS): हाँ/ना चने। प्राधिकृत अधिकारी द्वारा जारी प्रमाणपत्र का विवरण भरे। 
   सुविधा वंचित समूह (BPL) : हाँ/ना चुने प्राधिकृत अधिकारी द्वारा जारी प्रमाणपत्र का विवरण भरे।
7. रक्त समूह: (सही विकल्प चुनें)

(ब.) पारिवारिक विवरण:

8. 1. (क ) प्रोजेक्ट/उच्च शिक्षण संस्थान के अंतर्गत आने वाले विद्यालयों में अभ्यर्थी यदि उसी प्रोजेक्ट/उच्च शिक्षण संस्थान मे सेवारत/सेवानिवृत दादा-दादी/नाना- नानी की पात्रता का लाभ चाहता है तो अभिभावक के स्थान पर दादा-दादी/नाना- नानी का विवरण भरे।इंस्टिट्यूट्स की लिस्ट के लिये क्लिक करें|
   2. (ख) एकल अभिभावक – हाँ / ना सही विकल्प चुनें |
9. राष्ट्रीयता: सही विकल्प चुनें
10. व्यवसाय: सही विकल्प का चुनाव करें: सरकारी नियमित / सरकारी अनुबंधित / गैरसरकारी / अन्य मे कार्यरत ।
11. संगठन का नाम: जहाँ कार्यरत हैं- , संगठन का नाम लिखें एव अन्य विवरण लिखें ।
12. सेवा श्रेणी: कृपया पवेश हेतु प्राथमिकताए केन्द्रीय विद्यालय में प्रवेश दिशा निर्देश के अनुसार सेवा श्रेणी का चयन करे ।

प्रवेश में प्राथमिकताएं : 

प्रवेश प्रदान करते समय निम्नलिखित प्राथमिकताओं का अनुपालन किया जाएगा : 

क. सिविल/ रक्षा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत केंद्रीय विद्यालय :
1. पूर्व-सैनिकों सहित केंद्रीय सरकार के स्थानांतरणीय व अस्थानांतरणीय कर्मचारियों के बच्चे। इसमें विदेशी कर्मचारियों के बच्चे भी सम्मिलित हैं जो भारत सरकार के आमंत्रण पर भारत में प्रतिनियुक्ति/स्थानांतरण पर आते हैं।
2. भारत सरकार के स्वायत निकायों/सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों/उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों के स्थानांतरणीय व अस्थानांतरणीय कर्मचारियों के बच्चे।
3. राज्य सरकार के स्थानांतरणीय व अस्थानांतरणीय कर्मचारियों के बच्चे।
4. राज्य सरकार के स्वायत निकायों/सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों/उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों के स्थानांतरणीय व अस्थानांतरणीय कर्मचारियों के बच्चे।
5. किसी अन्य श्रेणी के बच्चे जिसमें विदेशियों के बच्चें भी सम्मिलित हैं जो किसी निजी कार्य से भारत में रहते है। विदेशियों के मामले में तभी विचार किया जाएगा जबकि प्रतिक्षारत सूची में कोई भी भारतीय शेष न हो।

टिप्पणी : बच्चों को प्रवेश में प्राथमिकता अभिभावकों के पिछले 7 वर्षों में स्थानांतरणों की संख्या के आधार पर दी जाएगी। 

ख. सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों/उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों के अन्तर्गत केंद्रीय विद्यालय:-
1. (क) विद्यालय को प्रायोजित करने वाले सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों/उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों के कर्मचारियों के बच्चें एवं उनके पौत्र/पौत्रियां। 
   
   (ख) प्रोजेक्ट के कर्मचारी और स्नातकोत्तर विद्यार्थी जो अनुसंधान परियोजना के लिए दीर्घ अवधि तक कार्य करते है।
   
   (ग) वार्डन परिषद के नियमित कर्मचारियों (सीओडब्ल्यू) के बच्चें 
   
   (घ) प्रवेश के उद्देश्य से सेवानिवृत कर्मचारियों के बच्चे एवं उनके पौत्र/पौत्रियॉ श्रेणी-1 में सम्मिलित किए जाएं।
2. तत्पश्चात्‌ सिविल/रक्षा क्षेत्र के केंद्रीय विद्यालयों( पैरा-3 (क)) के लिए दी गई प्राथमिकताओं का उसी अनुक्रम से अनुसरण होगा।
3. उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों के जो बच्चे अपने अभिभावकों के दीर्घ अवधि पर विश्रामकाल/अवकाश पर जाने के कारण स्टेशन से दूर जाने पर विद्यालय में अध्ययन जारी नहीं रख सकें उन्हें पुन: प्रवेश कक्षा की निर्धारित क्षमता के ऊपर दिया जाए।
13. निवास स्थान का पता - कृपया पिन कोड सहित पता लिखें
14. दूरभाष नंबर - कृपया लैंड लाइन न. एस.टी.डी. कोड सहित लिखे| (यदि उपलब्ध है)
15. मोबाइल नंबर – कृपया अपना १० अंकों वाला मोबाइल नंबर (कोई एक)
16. कार्यालय का पता - कार्यालय का पता विस्तार पूर्वक पिन कोड सहित लिखें
17. ई मेल – कृपया अंकित करें(आवश्यक)
18. स्थानांतरण - कर्मचारी को स्थानांतरित तब माना जाएगा यदि सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा उसे एक स्थान/शहरी संकुल से दूसरे स्थान/शहरी संकुल में स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया है और जो स्थान कम से कम 20 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है तथा एक स्थान पर ठहराव की अवधि कम से कम 6 महीने होनी चाहिए।
19. आर. टी .ई के अंतर्गत प्रवेश की पात्रता होने पर ही इस विकल्प का चयन करें । यद्यपि केंद्रीय विद्यालय विभिन्न जनसंख्या घनत्व में अवस्थित है, पड़ोस के क्षेत्र की सीमा का निर्धारण के लिए निम्न तरह से वर्गीकृत किया गया है: -
1. प्रमुख नगर और शहरी क्षेत्र (सभी जिला मुख्यालय एवं महानगरीय क्षेत्र) 5 कि.मी. की परिधि
2. ऊपर 1 में सम्मिलित स्थान व क्षेत्र के अलावा 8 कि.मी. की परिधि टिप्पणी:
1. 1. सभी आवेदकों को अपने निवास का प्रमाण देना होगा तथापि निवास प्रमाण न होने की परिस्थिति में प्रवेश से इंकार नहीं किया जा सकता है।
2. 2. अभिभावकों द्वारा दूरी संबंधी लिखित स्व:घोषणा को इस आशय के लिए स्वीकार कर लिया जाए।
20. आधार संख्या: कृपया भरें, यदि उपलब्ध है। 
    
    नोट : (i) सभी विशेष व्यवस्था , के . वि. एस के प्रवेश निर्देशानुसार (विशेष व्यवस्था) आनलाइन आवेदन नहीं किया जा सकता(कृपया विद्यालय से सीधे संपर्क करे)

Theme of the year 2017 is "Science and Technology for Specially Abled Persons"

National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman on 28 February 1930.

For his discovery, Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.
