The Power Of Youth And Vivekananda

The youth of India have great creative energy with the positive potential to take them to spiritual heights. If human creativity is a special quality, then the “Never say die!” spirit is its apex. Demographically, today’s India is at its youngest best and has the power to meet any challenge with the collective consciousness and effort of all people, especially young people.   

This is the perfect time when youth is alert and aware and provoked by the environment and lack of values. India is a nation facing incredible challenges. This is evident from the utter lack of safety and security for the girl child and women anywhere in the country and the impunity with which monstrous elements like rapists heap violence on girl children and women.

On the one hand, people can see such huge wealth and on the other, more than one-third of the people go without a second meal every day. We have examples of the very affluent as well as the extremely poor. And millions of our children have no access to education, even at the primary level. And we are still grappling with the issue of child labour.

“Knowledge and education are not restricted to books. The purpose of education is to enable balanced growth of every dimension of a human being, which is not possible without innovation,” Modi said. “Ambedkar, Deen Dayal Upadhya and Ram Manohar Lohiya always emphasised on character-building over literacy. Swami Vivekananda stressed on wholesome education that makes us a human,” he added.

The prime minister asserted that without innovation life would become a burden.

“Innovation is very important because, without it, life seems like a burden. In our ancient universities like Takshshila, Nalanda and Vikramashila, innovation was given emphasis along with knowledge.

“I insist that students should give knowledge in classrooms of college, university but they also add them to the aspirations of the country,” he said. Stressing upon the need for “interlinking” the institutions, Modi said no country or person can live in isolation.

“Our universities and colleges should be leveraged to find solutions to the challenges facing us. We should interlink institutions to innovate and incubate. The students should link their classroom learnings to the aspirations of the country,” he said. The prime minister emphasised the importance of preparing good teachers for society.

“Scholars and students can take responsibility for spreading digital literacy and generating greater awareness of government programmes that can improve ease of living. Youth has given ‘Brand India’ a global identity,” he said.

The conference is being attended by vice-chancellors and directors of over 350 higher education institutions.

It is being organised jointly by University Grants Commission, All India Council for Technical Education, Indian Council of Social Science Research, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University.

The theme of the conference is to deliberate on the challenges facing the Indian education system and to work out a plan for a paradigm shift both in terms of achieving academic outcomes and also in the regulation of education.

Some of the topics that will be covered during the conference include improving pedagogy for learner-centric education, use of artificial intelligence for customised learning, improving quality of research, bringing synergy among educational institutions, participatory governance models and promoting value education by building in universal values and life skills into education.

World Book.Fair 2019 NEW DELHI

नई दिल्ली : 

किताबों का महाकुंभ यानी विश्व पुस्तक मेला (World Book Fair 2019) शनिवार से शुरू हो जाएगा. 13 जनवरी तक चलने वाले नई दिल्ली वर्ल्ड बुक फेयर (NDWBF) का उद्घाटन केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर करेंगे. नेशनल बुक ट्रस्ट (एनबीटी)  द्वारा आयोजित मेले की थीम इस बार  'रीडर्स विद स्पेशल नीड्स' रखी गई है, जो खासतौर से विशेष बच्चों पर केंद्रित है. बुक फेयर में शारजाह 'अतिथि देश' के तौर पर शिरकत कर रहा है. इसके अलावा पड़ोसी चीन, पाकिस्तान, श्रीलंका, नेपाल समेत करीब 20 देशों के प्रकाशक हिस्सा ले रहे हैं.

एनबीटी के अध्यक्ष बलदेव भाई शर्मा ने कहा कि, मेले (New Delhi World Book Fair 2019) के थीम पवेलियन में विशेष तौर पर ब्रेल किताबें, ऑडियो किताबें, प्रिंट-ब्रेल किताबें, लोगों व बच्चों व दिव्यांग लोगों के लिए प्रदर्शित की जाएंगी. एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिव्यांग फिल्म महोत्सव 'वी केयर' में 27 देशों की फिल्में भी दिखाई जाएंगी. पुस्तक मेले के लिए टिकट ऑनलाइन बुक माईशो की वेबसाइट से लिए जा सकते हैं. प्रगति मैदान से भी टिकट खरीदा जा सकता है. टिकट का मूल्य बच्चों के लिए दस रुपये व वयस्कों के लिए बीस रुपये रखा गया है. आपको बता दें कि इस बार पुस्तक प्रेमियों के लिए भारतीय प्रकाशकों ने खास तैयारी की है. एक तरफ जहां किताबों पर छूट मिलेगी, तो दूसरी तरफ पाठकों को पसंदीदा लेखकों से मिलने का मौका भी मिलेगा. इस बार राजकमल प्रकाशन ने अपने स्टॉल का नाम 'जलसाघर' रखा है, जहां किताबों, लेखकों, पाठकों और रचनाधर्मिता से जुड़ी बातों का जलसा होगा.

मेले (Book Fair) में आने वाली खास किताबों में इस साल बुकर पुरस्कार से सम्मानित लेखिका अरूंधति रॉय के उपन्यास, 'द मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ अटमोस्ट हैप्पीनेस' का हिंदी और उर्दू अनुवाद है. वहीं, राजकमल विश्वप्रसिद्ध लेखिका तसलीमा नसरीन के बहुचर्चित उपन्यास 'लज्जा' की उत्तरकथा 'बेशरम' का भी लोकार्पण करने जा रहा है. राजकमल के अलावा वाणी, संवाद, प्रभात, पेंग्विन, रूपा और अन्य तमाम प्रकाशकों के स्टॉल पर भी पाठकों के लिए खास व्यवस्था की गई है.

किताबें झाँकती हैं बंद ,,,,,,गुलज़ार ।

किताबें झाँकती हैं बंद आलमारी के शीशों से 
बड़ी हसरत से तकती हैं
महीनों अब मुलाकातें नहीं होती
जो शामें उनकी सोहबत में कटा करती थीं
अब अक्सर गुज़र जाती है कम्प्यूटर के पर्दों पर
बड़ी बेचैन रहती हैं क़िताबें
उन्हें अब नींद में चलने की आदत हो गई है
जो कदरें वो सुनाती थी कि जिनके 
जो रिश्ते वो सुनाती थी वो सारे उधरे-उधरे हैं
कोई सफा पलटता हूँ तो इक सिसकी निकलती है
कई लफ्ज़ों के मानी गिर पड़े हैं
बिना पत्तों के सूखे टुंड लगते हैं वो अल्फ़ाज़
जिनपर अब कोई मानी नहीं उगते
जबां पर जो ज़ायका आता था जो सफ़ा पलटने का
अब ऊँगली क्लिक करने से बस झपकी गुजरती है
किताबों से जो ज़ाती राब्ता था, वो कट गया है
कभी सीने पर रखकर लेट जाते थे
कभी गोदी में लेते थे
कभी घुटनों को अपने रिहल की सूरत बनाकर
नीम सजदे में पढ़ा करते थे, छूते थे जबीं से
वो सारा इल्म तो मिलता रहेगा आइंदा भी
मगर वो जो किताबों में मिला करते थे सूखे फूल
और महके हुए रुक्के
किताबें मँगाने, गिरने उठाने के बहाने रिश्ते बनते थे
उनका क्या होगा
वो शायद अब नही होंगे!!

प्राचार्य, के.वि. रेवाड़ी द्वारा सभी बच्चों के अभिभावकों से एक अपील

1. शाम 8:00 बजे तक टीवी बंद कर दें। टीवी पर आठ बजे के बाद आपके बच्चे से ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण कुछ नहीं होता है। 
2. अपने बच्चे की स्कूल डायरी देखने के लिए 30-45 मिनट निकालिए। उसके गृहकार्य पूरे कराइए। 
3. रोज सभी विषयों में उनका प्रदर्शन देखिए। उन विषयों का खास ध्यान रखिए जिसमें वह कमजोर है / अच्छा नहीं कर रहा है। 
4. उनकी बुनियादी शिक्षा भविष्य के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। 
5. उन्हें सुबह जल्दी उठने की आदत डालिए 5:30 बजे तक। उन्हें मेडिटेशन ध्यान लगाने का प्रशिक्षण दीजिए। 
6. अगर आप पार्टी / सामाजिक आयोजन में जाते हैं और बच्चों के साथ इसमें देर रात तक मजे करते हैं तो अगले दिन बच्चे को आराम करने दीजिए (स्कूल मत भेजिए) अगर आप चाहते हैं कि बच्चा अगले दिन स्कूल जाए तो रात 10:00 बजे तक घर लौट आइए। 
7. अपने बच्चे में पौधे लगाने और उनका ख्याल रखने की आदत का विकास कीजिए।
8. सोने के समय अपने बच्चों को पंचतंत्र, अकबर-बीरबल, तेनाली राम आदि की कहानी सुनाइए। 
9. हर साल गर्मी की छुट्टी में (अपने बजट के अनुसार) कहीं घूमने जाइए। इससे वे अलग लोगों के साथ और अलग जगहों पर रहना सीखते हैं। 
10. अपने बच्चे की प्रतिभा का पता लगाइए और उसे इसे निखारने में सहायता कीजिए (वह किसी विषय, संगीत, खेल, अभिनय, चित्रांकन, नृत्य आदि में दिलचस्पी रख सकता है)। इससे उसका जीवन आनंददायक हो जाएगा। 
11. उसे सीखाइए कि प्लास्टिक का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए (कम से कम गर्म चीजें प्लास्टिक में उपयोग न     करें) । 
12. प्रत्येक बच्चे जन्म से वैज्ञानिक होते हैं उनके पास ढेरों सवाल होते हैं मुमकिन है हम जवाब न दें पर जानकारी न होने के कारण हमें सवाल पर गुस्सा नहीं दिखाना चाहिए। (उत्तर पता करने की कोशिश कीजिए औऱ उन्हें बताइए)
13. उन्हें अनुशासन और जीने के बेहतर तरीकों के बारे में बताइए। (सही गलत के बारे में समझाइए)
14. उनमे खुद पढ़ने और सीखने की आदत डालिए।  
15.  उन्हें मोबाइल फोन का उपयोग न करने दिया जाए, आवश्यक होने पर अपनी देखरेख में ही मोबाइल का उपयोग करने दिया जाए।
16. बच्चे को अपने काम में सहायता करने के लिए कहिए। (इसमें खाना बनाना, सफाई, चीजों को व्यवस्थित करना शामिल है।)
17. और सबसे महत्त्वपूर्ण कि हमें अपने बच्चों को शिक्षा के साथ अच्छे संस्कार भी देने चाहिए ताकि वो जीवन में सफल और सही इन्सान बन सके। हमें अपने अनुभव के आधार पर अपने बच्चों का जीवन सुंदर और स्वस्थ बनाने में उनकी सहायता करना चाहिए |


बच्चों की उत्तम शिक्षा एवं सफलता के लिए समय-समय पर विद्यालय द्वारा जारी निर्देशों की अनुपालना कर विद्यालय परिवार का सहयोग करें |
