  • Rotational positions: Players rotate clockwise after winning a point on the opponent’s serve

Basic Volleyball Rules The Serve • 

Server must serve from behind the end line until after contact • Ball may be served underhand or overhand • Ball must be clearly visible to opponents before serve • Served ball may graze the net and drop to the other side for point • First game serve is determined by a volley, each subsequent game shall be served by the previous game loser • Serve must be returned by a bump only. no setting or attacking a serve 

 Scoring 

 • Rally scoring will be used. • There will be a point scored on every score of the ball. • Offense will score on a defense miss or out of bounds hit. • Defense will score on an offensive miss, out of bounds hit, or serve into the net. • Game will be played to 25 pts. • Must win by 2 points. 

 Rotation

 • Team will rotate each time they win the serve • Players shall rotate in a clockwise manner • There shall be 4-6 players on each side. 

 Playing The Game

 • Maximum of three hits per side • Player may not hit the ball twice in succession (A block is not considered a hit) • Ball may be played off the net during a volley and on serve • A ball touching a boundary line is good • A legal hit is contact with the ball by a player body above and including the waist which does not allow the ball to visibly come to a rest • If two or more players contact the ball simultaneously, it is considered one play and the players involved may not participate in the next play • A player must not block or attack a serve • Switching positions will be allowed only between front line players. ( After the serve only ) 

 Basic Rule Violations 

 • Stepping on or over the line on a serve • Failure to serve the ball over the net successfully • Hitting the ball illegally ( Carrying, Palming, Throwing, etc. ) • Touches of the net with any part of the body while the ball is in play. If the ball is driven into the net with such force that it causes the net to contact an opposing player, no foul will be called, and the ball shall continue to be in play • Reaching over the net, except under these conditions a) When executing a follow-through b) When blocking a ball which is in the opponents court but is being returned ( the blocker must not contact the ball until after the opponent who is attempting to return the ball makes contact). Except to block the third play • Reaches under the net ( if it interferes with the ball or opposing player ) • Failure to serve in the correct order • Blocks or spikes from a position which is clearly not behind the 10-foot line while in a back row position 

 The Court

 • Both indoor and outdoor courts are 18 m x 9m • Indoor courts also include an attack area designated by a line 3 m back from the center line

 Net Height

 • Net height for men, co-ed mixed 6 is 2.43 meters • Net height for women is 2.24 m

क्या है Gen Z

  •  आजकल हर न्यूज़ चैनल, अखबार और सोशल मीडिया पर एक ही खबर छाई है कि नेपाल के "Gen-Z" ने आंदोलन करके सत्ता ही पलट दिया।
  • Gen Z यानी Generation Z एक पीढ़ी है, जिसे आम तौर पर उन बच्चों एवं युवाओं के लिए कहा जाता है जिनकी उम्र आज 13 से 28 वर्ष के बीच हैं। मतलब – ये वो पहली पीढ़ी है जो बचपन से ही इंटरनेट, स्मार्टफोन, सोशल मीडिया और डिजिटल तकनीक के बीच बड़ी हुई। जिनके लिए रील, इंस्ट्राग्राम, शॉर्ट वीडियोस, टिकटॉक एवं अन्य सोशल साइट्स इनके जीवन का प्रमुख हिस्सा हैं। यही वो पीढ़ी है जो पारंपरिक सोच को आसानी से चुनौती देती है।

  • * नोट: वही लोग जिन्होंने अंग्रेजों की गुलामी स्वीकार नहीं किया और देश के आजादी में मुख्य भूमिका निभाई।

  • 07 – Generation Alpha
  • * जन्म: 2013 से 2025
  • * उम्र: 1 से 12 साल
  • * नोट: मोबाइल, टैबलेट और AI के बीच पली सबसे तकनीकी समझ वाली नन्ही पीढ़ी।

  • 08 – Generation Beta (Future)
  • * जन्म: 2025 से 2039
  • * नोट: आने वाली AI और मेटावर्स वाली पीढ़ी, जो वर्चुअल दुनिया में पलेगी-बढ़ेगी।

CAS invites all veterans who have been associated with MiG-21 ac operations to the “Seminar on culmination of operational flying of MiG-21 ac” on 26 Sep 25.

A very warm welcome to all veterans for all the events. On that day, all are expected to reach AFS Chandigarh by 0930h and the first event is high Tea followed by visit to the memory lane. 

Usherers and LOs will guide you from your respective hotels/ main gate. Venues for all events are nearby. All are expected to be seated for the program of the ceremony at the dispersal by 1030h after Tea. 

RM is expected to arrive by 1045h. Official functions will last till 1300h. The expected strength at the venue is likely to be 2000. After the culmination of all events at 1300h, all are expected to move for Bara Khana, 

RM will reach Bara Khana venue by 1315h. After Bara Khana RM is expected to leave by 1345h and depart by 1400h. AFFWA and souvenirs shop counters have been placed at the venue for your interest. Post Bara Khana departure can be planned.

QR codes for entry to AFS Station and the collection of goodie bags will be sent on the respective mobiles.

It is indeed been really heartening to have got an overwhelming response from all the veterans to make the final flight of the mighty MiG-21 a grand success. Its our privilege and  we are trying our best to contribute equally and make all the necessary  arrangements in order to make it a memorable event for all of us.
