PM SHRI KV & BTC ITBP BHANU

PMSHRI KV ITBP  BHANU

Celebration of Children’s Day, Students’ Day, and Library Week

at PMSHRI KV BHANU & BTC ITBP Bhanu

14 -26 November - 2024

In a remarkable initiative to celebrate Children’s Day, Students’ Day, and Library Week, our Vidayalaya Library organized a series of enriching activities that connected students with the world of books and knowledge. We collaborated with the local library at BTC ITBP Bhanu, which graciously welcomed our students for this special event.

Under this program, each class had the opportunity to visit the library, accompanied by their class teacher and librarian. The students engaged in guided tours of the library, learning about its resources and the importance of reading. They spent valuable time exploring books, journals, and newspapers, immersing themselves in the joy of reading and discovery.

The enthusiasm displayed by the children was truly heartwarming; many were reluctant to leave as they eagerly absorbed the atmosphere of the library.

This initiative, commemorating National Library Week, Children’s Day, and Students’ Day, has proven to be an exceptional gift for our students, fostering a love for reading and learning.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shri A P S Nimbadia IG BTC ITBP Bhanu, for granting the students permission to access the library throughout this week. Special thanks also to ITBP officials: Inspector Anil Kumar Shukla, Inspector Bharat Singh, and ASI Suman Ji, whose efforts ensured a well-organized experience for the students, enhancing their knowledge about library resources.

BTC LIBRARY Hosted a debate competition for the students of KV on Swachhta hi sewa and 10 students participated on the spot for this competition.

Librarians of Both institutions have also drafted an MOU of Inter-Library Co-opration for future programs keeping the user demands of both libraries in mind in the area of Resource sharing, Joint Book Exhibitions, Interlibrary Loans, Joint Workshops/seminars, EG4.0 Know-how and training.

Students of PMSHRI KV ITBP BHANU are especially grateful to the Principal, Mrs. Monika for orchestrating this wonderful program to celebrate these significant occasions in November.

This initiative not only enriched our students' understanding of literature and library resources but also instilled in them the value of knowledge and reading, preparing them for a brighter future.

Discussion on NCF SE 2023

The National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF SE) 2023 is a comprehensive framework developed by the Ministry of Education in India, based on the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

It aims to transform the education system with

holistic,

integrative, and

rooted approaches

to learning, pedagogy, and assessment.

Key Components of NCF SE 2023:

  1. Curricular Goals: Focuses on the development of the full range of human capacities, values, and dispositions.

  2. Curricular Areas: Includes foundational subjects like language, mathematics, science, social science, arts, physical education, and vocational education.

  3. Cross-Cutting Themes: Emphasizes values, inclusion, information and communication technology, guidance and counseling, environment, and rootedness in India.

  4. School Culture and Processes: Addresses school culture, processes, pupil-teacher ratio, enabling and empowering teachers, and the role of academic and administrative functionaries.

  5. Supportive Ecosystem: Ensures an appropriate environment for learning, including the role of teachers and the creation of a supportive ecosystem.

The framework is designed to cover the age group of 3 to 18 years and aims to move away from rote learning and content accumulation, focusing instead on holistic development and critical thinking.
