Today I stand and pledge with full faith of my ability to grow through reading and discussions.

I pledge to promote the development of my country, Bharat, through judicious reading of books, as well as digital reading, and through right action.

I shall read books and practice digital reading, for knowledge as well as technological empowerment. I shall shine the light of knowledge gained; to solve the problems I face the challenges as well that affect my country.

I realize that today we face multiple challenges, be it corruption, substance abuse, or environmental problems.

I shall make reading a habit and be a solution to these challenges. I shall ensure best compliance to the legal framework of my country and shall strive for a secure and secular atmosphere.

I shall strive to raise high, the value of knowledge, and the pride of my country with my thoughts, words and deeds.
पठन दिवस प्रतिज्ञा

  • मै, अपनी क्षमता के पूर्ण विश्वास के अनुसार पठन एवं परिचर्चा के द्वारा विकास की प्रतिज्ञा करता हूं।

  • मै अपने देश भारत के विकास का प्रचार, पुस्तकों के न्यायोचित पठन और डिजिटल पठन, तथा उचित कार्यवाही द्वारा करने की प्रतिज्ञा करता हूं।

  • मै ज्ञान और तकनीकी सशक्तिकरण हेतु पुस्तकें पढूंगा तथा डिजिटल पठन का अभ्यास करूंगा।

  • मैं अपने द्वारा अर्जित ज्ञान के प्रकाश को, अपनी समस्याओं के समाधान तथा मेरे देश को प्रभावित करने वाली चुनौतियों के समाधान हेतु फैलाऊंगा। मै महसूस करता हूं कि आज हम विभीन्न चुनौतियों, चाहे वो भ्रष्टाचार हो, मादक द्रव्यों का सेवन हो या वातावरण की समस्याएं हो, का सामना कर रहे हैं।
