1. Cataloguing Workflow

Objective: Ensure systematic entry of books (multilingual, bilingual, Bhasha Sangam) into the library system.
Steps:

  1. Receive Books – Verify delivery against purchase order.

  2. Assign Accession Number – Use a pre‑printed accession register or eG4.0 digital entry.

  3. Classify – Apply DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification) or CBSE/KVS guidelines.

  4. Enter Metadata – Title, author, publisher, language, ISBN, cost.

  5. Tag Language – Mark Hindi/English/Regional (Bhasha Sangam) for easy retrieval.

  6. Label & Stamp – School stamp + barcode/QR code for digital tracking.

  7. Update Catalogue – Enter into eG4.0 platform and physical register simultaneously.

2. Issuing & Returning Workflow
