OBJECTIVES:
- eGranthalay is a powerful tool for transforming traditional libraries into modern, efficient digital hubs.
- It automates library operations, creating digital catalogs, managing members, and facilitating online services.
- By offering a cloud-based platform, eGranthalay ensures accessibility and scalability.
- It also enables libraries to build digital repositories, expanding their collections beyond physical boundaries.
- Ultimately, eGranthalay empowers libraries to better serve their users and contribute to knowledge dissemination
PROGRAMMATIC NORMS:
● As per the new e-Granthalaya Policy Rs.21,275/= are charged from each library using eG4 on NIC Cloud - as one time payment for a five years period. These charges are paid to NICSI towards hosting, maintenance and Help-Desk support.
● Users may send a scan copy of duly filled PI Request Form along with covering letter at egranthalaya@nic.in and sibli@nic.in to initiate the implementation process.
● Remaining amount may be utilised for procurement of subscriptions of various digital magazines as per requirement of the vidyalaya.

FINANCIAL NORMS: ● ₹ 50,000/- (0.5 lakh) per Vidyalaya
