NDWBF-2023- Pragati Maidan, New Delhi -5 February to 05 March 2023

 The Theme of NDWBF 2023 is Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commemorating 75 years of India's Independence and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements, and bringing to the fore the struggles and contributions of leaders of the national movement.   https://www.nbtindia.gov.in/ndwbf2023/


Inviting your attention to the subject cited above, it is to inform that National Book Trust, India, an apex body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India is promoting books and the habit of reading in the country for the last 66 years. One of their major flagship events is the New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) - one of the biggest book fairs in the Afro-Asian region.

These Book Fairs are being organized since 1972, this year it will be the 50th edition of NDWBF. The Fair is scheduled from 25 February to 05 March 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi with France as the Guest of Honour Country. 

One of the regular popular features is the Children's Pavilion [inside Hall No. 3 -Ground Floor] which will have lively, informative, and fun sessions for children to learn, and enjoy. The sessions are scheduled daily with workshops, storytelling, quiz contests, and much more. A copy of the Day-wise events is enclosed.

You are hereby requested to direct the Principal of the KVs in the NCT region to take part in the events and the cultural programmes. Further the KVs may be advised to submit their registrations for participation in the competitions and the cultural events in the links given below:

Details of registration made by the KVs in your region be consolidated and sent to this office latest by 22 February 023 for perusal of the competent authority.
