GSUITE GUIDE

TIPS TO USE G SUITE 

1. Disable the classroom code after all students have joined so as no one else joins in. 

2. Do not generate any new google meet link. Only use links from inside the classrooms or nickname. 

3. Do not reset the class code (unless required) as it there is a limit to it.

 4. Reset the google meet link if you think it’s shared outside classroom. 

5. It is advisable to turn off comments in stream section so as student’s communication is restricted through personal chat for any query or information and they should not submit their work in stream. Teacher may also mute the student.

Kindly ensure that the child is logging through the GSuite account in the classroom app and has a screen lock in case of mobile and also ensure that the Account is synced. Click on dropdown arrow next to meet link. Then click reset. 6. What happens when a students or a teacher is transferred. If transferred in the Delhi region, same GSuite account can be used by mailing support@kvsrodelhi.in for change in OU. 7. How to take attendance in google meet. There is icon with minus sign on attendance page. 9. Is there any way to hide assignment submitted by a student from other students as they do not copy? Teacher can mute the student (people - action) 10. Whenever we show YouTube videos in mobile students are not able to hear any sound how to overcome with this problem. In laptop, please share the tab where video is playing and in mobile there is no provision for this. Uninstall and reinstall the app. Then, I would login again. Check the classroom from another device, unknown user will not come there and you will see child’s name. 14. Can a child from outside GSuite join our classroom? No 15. Can somebody from outside GSuite join our meet? Yes, if they have meet link they can join.
